As you learn more about the Academy for Church Planting & Leadership (ACPL), you will discover that our focus is to serve the Living God by educating Christ-centered leaders who will be agents of change in rapidly changing world around them. The church is at the heartbeat of God’s mission, and it is that truth that makes biblical education so crucial. At ACPL we educate and train men and women to plant, lead, and serve local churches throughout India and its neighboring countries by fostering the following distinctives:

Unity in Essentials, Diversity in Nonessentials: We are committed without reservation to biblical Christianity. ACPL holds fast to the inerrancy of Scripture and the lordship of Christ. While emphasizing these essentials, we appreciate diversity in other matters, making it possible for evangelical Christians from many different backgrounds to study, worship, and serve together. We have a learning community made up of people from various denominations and nationalities.

Outstanding Faculty: ACPL draws together a community of scholars with vibrant personal faith, high academic credentials, and a desire to be involved in the lives of students. Students and alumni report that our faculty is our greatest strength. Our entire faculty has a wide range of ministry and mission experience not just in India and Asia but also all around the globe.

Strong Scholarship and Spiritual Formation: The curriculum at ACPL is intellectually challenging because a vital part of Christ’s greatest commandment is to love God with our minds. But that commandment also calls us to love God with our hearts and souls. So our program encourages a balanced life of intellectual, personal, and spiritual growth.
