The Academy for Church Planting and Leadership dedicated the ‘Alva Memorial Library’ for God’s glory on the sixth day of April 2002. The library is being built to model excellence in catering to the needs of Christian Ministry.

The academy attaches special importance to its library since the quality of its research level programs partly depends on the availability of publications known for their depth of scholarship and creativity. We specially procure books, journals, reports and audio-visual materials related to Christian ministry and theology in general and missiology in particular. It comprises of a very carefully selected collection of close to 12,000 volumes. The library receives 25 journals / magazines from various missiological sources. In addition to these, the library subscribes to a daily newspaper, published circulated by Indian news agencies. We also subscribe to periodic bulletins / newsletters / in-house journals / etc. issued by other academic, research and training institutions both in India and abroad. The library has a substantial collection of video cassettes, CDs, DVDs, VCDs on different subjects.
