Prospectus
The Academy for Church Planting & Leadership (ACPL) is not just for pastors and missionaries in training. Education at ACPL serves anyone who recognizes a need for greater depth in their life calling or better integration of Christian ideals in their chosen vocation. We have students come to ACPL from diverse backgrounds and train for very different reasons, common among them is a search for a deeper understanding of their role in discipling the nations through reproductive churches.
ACPL training can prepare you for:
- Ministry as a pastor, missionary, chaplain, organization staff member, or lay leadership in a church
- A career in Church planting, leading a church plant, or church-planting counseling & Mentoring
- Advanced academic study to be a researcher in the field of mission studies
- Biblically engaging culture in the workplace and elsewhere
The purpose of education is never simply to gain more knowledge (cognitive), but to go deeper into the formation of one’s character(affective) and behavior. This is envisioned to facilitate the transforming work of the indwelling Holy Spirit in order to grow in Christ and serve in his kingdom more fully, wherever he may lead.
